Subimal Deb completed his bachelor's degree in Physics from Presidency College, Kolkata, M.Sc. from the Department of Physics, University of Pune and worked at Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad for his doctoral degree. He teaches engineering undergraduates at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. His research interests include numerical investigation of photonic systems, computational methods pertaining to eigensystems and the evolution of dynamical systems and image/video processing for real-time data acquisition from physical systems.
