My professional career began as a school teacher in the Mobile County Public School system within the state of Alabama. For six years I taught middle school and high school mathematics and some classes in business computing. During this time I furthered my studies in Computer Science earning a MSCS degree from the University of South Alabama. I worked several jobs as a programmer participating in projects ranging from print driver installers to nutritional database software. I'm currently working as a software engineer where I make enhancements to the MES system at AM/NS, a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel.
