If you go to http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/imageoptimizer and enter the URL of a normal PNG like https://oeis.org/w/images/6/63/Broken_banner.png, it will be optimized. If you enter the current banner http://oeis.org/Luschny4.png there will be an error. The file is corrupted. Tilman Piesk 16:31, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

It might be a local glitch. But I access the OEIS from this computer I'm on right now a lot, so I'll try a different computer later and let you know. Alonso del Arte 16:37, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

I doubt that there are local glitches of this kind, but the problem is solved now. I also checked on the optimizer page. It works.
It seems that someone had forgotten the https: The corrupted file is http://oeis.org/Luschny4.png and the correct one, now displayed, is https://oeis.org/Luschny4.png. Tilman Piesk 16:50, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

The correct image is shown on https://oeis.org, and the crappy one on http://oeis.org. Just use the complete URL to fix it: src="https://oeis.org/Luschny4.png" Tilman Piesk 18:51, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
