Mike Speciner is an MIT-trained technologist with degrees in math and physics. He holds patents in computer graphics and telephony, has co-authored a book on Network Security, and has co-parented two talented children who together earned MIT degrees in music, math, and physics. He has spent the majority of his career working for somewhat successful startups you never heard of. He now serves as CTO of a non-profit educational startup. He also serves as a member of the Council for the Arts at MIT and as a mentor in MentorNet. In the past, he served as an expert for AskNSDL and as a technical advisor for another startup you never heard of.
